Experience: Never thought she would have to get a knee replacement, but with the extra weight putting pressure on her knees, deteriorated her left knee until the point where she had bone on bone with no tissue in between to cushion the knee. She had to have a Gastric Bypass to lose weight and then once the weight was lost she qualified for knee surgery. The pain from having bone on bone for her left knee made it impossible to walk, stand for long periods of time, and it was hard to do everyday tasks.
